Getting a feel for our challenge — so that we can better understand the main dynamics of the fast evolving climate situation in Iceland.

For those of us who are not necessarily deeply informed about the unfolding climate/mobility emergency situation — and opportunities — in that part of the world, here is one way to dig in to the situation.

We start with our chosen short list of keywords in the hope of getting a little perspective on our top.  Ours look like this — and  in this order:  climate / emergency / cities / mobility / action / plan / Iceland.  With each additional word in order serving to narrow and focus the field and bring us closer to the specifics of our investigation.

magnifying glass climateThen if you happen to have a bit of time try this:  Pop those words into Google in the indicated order, one at a time, starting at the beginning of the sequence (climate) and each time once there spend a bit of time thrashing around to get a feel for the field as it gains focus.  And some sense of the dynamics.

Each time you add the next word in the sequence and do the same till you get all the way to Iceland. . .  Now we start to know more.

I find the voyage fascinating, useful and  in many ways humbling.  The full run of the sequence chosen here can be found at http://bit.ly/33QE2op
