Survival of the Fittest – Gender and Public Transport in Kathmandu
The population of Kathmandu is increasing at a phenomenal rate, putting enormous pressure on the public transport system. Major problems include overcrowding, personal insecurity, reckless & unsafe driving, increased insecurity after dark and problems travelling with children. This video documents such findings from a gender and public transport study conducted by the World Bank from September to December, 2013.
