Trained as a development economist, Eric Britton is a student, teacher, writer, sustainability activist, advisor and international mediator dealing with public policy and decision issues involving complex systems, social-technical change, equity, conflict and sustainable development.
He is managing director of EcoPlan International, an independent advisory network providing strategic counsel for government and industry in the areas of economic development, sustainable transport and sustainable cities.
He is coordinator of the New Mobility Partnerships, a Founding Editor of Journal of World Transport Policy and Practice and World Streets, and Distinguished Visiting Professor of Sustainable Development at the Institut Supérieur de Gestion (Paris).
