Further background on both the book and the process behind it will be regularly posted and updated as progress is made, both here in World Streets and on our associated Facebook Group site at http://www.facebook.com/worldstreets.

And of course your ideas and suggestions as the project moves ahead will be most appreciated. From the beginning this has been a team project and its great strength relies in the fact that many of us are involved.

Thank you.

Eric Britton

PS.  If you are not in a position to make a financial contribution at this time, you might consider dropping a note to me to let me know of your support for this initiative.  After all, man may live by bread, but not by bread alone. (And if you do take the time to write, make sure you give me your full address and contact details. So that at this end I will be able to get you a copy of the book when completed,)

And while I have your attention I should also note that  access to World Streets and any of our projects and media is and will continue to be free for all.  Moreover we do not accept advertising. Beyond this, we do not accept funds from students, people without jobs or living on pensions, or from anyone living in the developing world.  We each do our bit, working within our means. A bit of a challenge admittedly, but that’s the way it is.  Nobody ever said that sustainable development was going to be easy.
